Carey said:No, it is a limitation of the FAT32 file system.
Sounds like the OP needs about 5 DVD-Rs or 40 CD-Rs unless
the file(s) can be heavily compressed. Maybe IZARC would be
useful.
Carey said:Because in an earlier post, in a different newsgroup,
the same OP asked:
"I'm trying to send a 20GB win media file to another PC running ME".
Windows ME cannot run on a NTFS file system.
Bud said:I tend to agree with this. Sometimes the MVP's appear to think others are as
well educated as they supposedly are.
Not always allowing for novices.
Help is great but Short responses do not help much!
I am not knocking the help you guys give but a little more explanation
sometimes would be helpful.
Cheers
Bud
Carey gave a straight answer to a simple question, there's nothing wrong
with that. No further information was requested. Sometimes that's all the
info the poster is looking for. A post like that would have incurred a
similar answer from most people, including myself.

You might as well ask the OP if the computer will fit through the nearest
open window so he can toss it out.
Why don't you try to offer some real help for a change, Carey? Why
couldn't you tell the OP to look into converting to NTFS? Such as:
http://aumha.org/win5/a/ntfscvt.php
Sounds crazy, but it JUST MIGHT WORK!
I am truly amazed that you are still an MVP! You're about as helpful as a
sharp stick in the eye most of the time. I will admit that occaisionally
you shock the h3ll out of me and actually display some reading
comprehension skills, although that's very rare. Most of the time all I
see you reply with are copy-pasted and barely related (if at all) M$ KB
links.
What, does M$ award MVP status based soley upon sheer volume of replies
that contain links to M$ KB urls based on a few keywords (and we all know
how futile THAT can be with M$ KB searches!), regardless of content
applicable to OP questions or whether they were ACTUALLY HELPFUL? Sh1t. I
can do THAT!
Maybe if I repost this a hundred times I'll get to be an MVP, too!
