System Partition cannot be expanded

I have a 10 GB system partition. (I know, I should have gone bigger), and it
is a dynamic volume. The OS is starting to get bigger than the volume, and
the physical disk has 230 GB of free space. However, I am unable to extend
the volume. Is there a way around this? If not, can I reinstall Windows on
the machine without losing my programs? The OS is on a separate drive than
all other programs / documents.

Thanks in advance

Tried partition magic, but it does not recognize dynamic disks or the volumes
contained in them. Any other suggestions?

Sorry, missed the dynamic volume part. WHY is the system partition a
dynamic volume!!! You may NOT extend a dynamic volume that is the system
partition. Please review Dynamic Volumes in Windows Help and Support for
for best practices and restrictions.

In addition to the other message about dynamic volumes, I would say the
"easy" way out might be to create an image of the drive, blow away the
dynamic drive and restore the image to a basic drive. That would be the
only way I could see all the program info being retained. Some one else
may have a better idea though.
