File Backup

I want to back up my C drive to an external hard drive G.
When I go to Accessories, System Tools I do not find the
Backup option to open the backup wizard. How can I backup
this entire drive? When I try a total copy I get stopped
by a file in use message. Can you do this back up with
system restore activated? Do you have to ID specicic
folders and files? Thanks for any assistance

Go to the valueadd\msft\ntbackup folder on the XP Home Edition cd and
install ntbackup manually by double clicking the file.
