File Association

I ran spybot seek & destroy and now I have an error message that comes up on alot of my programs that have to access the internet. The error message is as follows: "This file does not have a program assiociated with it performing this action. Create an association in the folder options control panel."

My question is - is there a fix other than going to each indivual program and associating a program to it? If not, how do i know which file name is the one that is getting the error message? (in alot of cases i have noticed different variations of the file name i am looking for - guess i need the extentions)

PLEASE HELP......
