I am using window Xp and have a software known as Spybot-Serach and destory.
While downloading a software (Chinese star), the spybot prompted to allow
some changes, which I did. However, after I allow it to alter, I notice that
alot of pop up for alteration appears. I immediately stop the programme from
running as I fear more data may be lost. I restarted the computer with proper
shut down sequence. When I restart the computer, I am unable to access into
most of my folder. A error message was prompt "This file does not have
aprogramme associated with it for this action. Create an association in the
Folder Option control panel." I have tried to open from explorer but to no
avail. I also tried to do a system restore, but was prompt " cannot find
rstrui.exe."
My knowledge of computer is extremely limited. Kindly advise any course of
action.
