Does this wizard actually "move information" or just "copy information" to
the new computer?

It for transferring Files and settings from one computer to another using a
cross-over cable and you can use the Wizard to guide you through the process
of transferring the files and settings to the new computer.

There are some issue you may face, like for example the user name on the old
computer and the user name for the New computer, the paths for the files and
folders, are they identical or you may have the My Documents on C:\ but the
new one on D:\ and so on.
