File and Printer Sharing XP & 2000

Just got a new Dell Dimension with XP Home. I also have a
PC with Win 2000 and a Mac with OS X that have been
sharing via MiraMar PCMacLAN/TCP/IP/AppleTalk (Win
File/Print Sharing were off as many say it is unsecure).
When I started up the Dell it said something about
needing to make a disk for XP file sharing with other
OS's. I ignored that hoping I could do it later. My Mac
can find the XP shared folder, but my Win 2000 can't, nor
can the XP find Win2000 share folder even though I turned
on Win2000 File & Print Sharing. All are in WORKGROUP and
there is no Domain or server. Where can I find how to
accomplish the file sharing disk that XP tried to get me
to do at startup?

Hi,

You can make the disk by running the networking wizard (control
panel/networking folder), but it shouldn't be necessary. The problem likely
lies in the lan agent, but I'm not familiar enough with yours to advise on
it. You may want to retry this in the networking group:
