Fiels change on their own in Sent Items

I have a strange intermittant issue. In outlook 2003 for one of my clients,
the fields will change on the sent items folder and will not show who the
e-mails were sent to. They only show who they are from. This happens about
every other week and a serious annoyance for the client.
To fix it, we simply go to the "Arranged by" tab at the top and select
custom and then re-add the "TO" field into the selection and put it at the
top so the e-mails display who the message was sent to when looking at them
in the list.
Again this is a minor issue but, a source of frustration. Any help anyone
can offer would be greatly appreciated.
