I SENT A FAZ AWHILE AGO,NOW WHEN MY PHONE RINGS THE PERSON THAT IS CALL
HEARS THE FAX TONE HOW DO I GET THAT OFF MY PHONE

State your fax software.
State your autoanswer settings.

Windows XP Fax will answer all incoming calls if set to Auto Answer mode.
Go to 'Printers and Faxes', right click the Fax printer and select
'Properties', click the 'Devices' tab, click the modem listed, click the
'Properties' button and go to the 'Receive tab. On this page, either
increase the number of rings in the Auto Answer window (it will still Auto
Answer, but will wait a number of rings giving you enough time to answer it
first) or click the Manual Answer radio button. In Manual mode, Fax will
not answer at all unless you tell it to.
