Faxing with Broadband Modem

While trying to setup Fax in XP it says no modem can be found and brings up a choice of standard dial up modem types. How do I get the installation recognise the Broadband modem?

You cannot Fax through the Broadband modem. Faxes are sent through the telephone line
to another telephone line (fax machine).
