Can't fax with wireless/broadband ?

but Hi,

I've been using fax services successfully with my old dialup/wired network -
not used it for a while.
I now have a wireless/broadband setup and the fax doesn't work any more - no
idea if it's the wireless or broadband aspect which is the problem.
When I try to configure the fax setup I only get the option to use the old
dialup V92 modem - not the broadband. So it obviously doesn't work.

Can you enlighten me please ? Thanks.

Fax of that kind work only on dialup/wired systems.
Wireless/broadband can work over some companies, that support this kind of
fax.

Thanks for this - I think I've worked it out.
the fax uses 'tone' so has to operate through a fax modem, not over broadband.
When I setup broadband I disconnected my dialup modem, so I obviously need
to reconnect it and everything should be OK.

You can send Faxes via broadband if you hire an Internet E-faxing service:
