How do I fax from my computer to a fax machine? I
configured the computer already. I hope I did it right.
But when trying to fax a message comes up, "no dial tone
or phone is in use." What does it mean?

....and be aware too that faxing requires a modem and phone line - and
cannot be done via broadband, such as DSL or cable (except via a 3rd-party
FAX server available via the WEB).

Make sure the phone line is pluged into your modem. This should solve your problem.

my phone line is plugged in, it always is. Isn't it the

I tried sending the fax while online and offline. So what
