I want use fax from Outlook 2007 and I cannot find how to do that because all
the info I can get in the Help menu of Fax Console is referred to Outlook
2000 and XP. Is this info useful for Outllok 2007 or I must follow a
different way? Where can I get this info for Outlook 2007?
Thanks in advance and best regards.

Outlook 2007 is no different. It can integrate with Windows XP Fax and Vista
Fax and Scan. Once either is installed, you can add it as a transport to
your profile.

Thank you Russ. I have prepare Outlook 2007 to send faxes and I cannot. Is it
possible to send faxes directly with the ADSL or Modem or I need a Fax
Service? If it is possible to send faxes without the Fax Service, could you
tell me how I can do that?

Thanks in advance and best regards.

It's possible to send faxes with ADSL ONLY if you use a standard, analog fax
modem connected to the DSL line through a line filter (supplied by your DSL
provider so you can connect an ordinary telephone to the DSL line). XP Fax
only knows how to use an analog modem, no fax machines or fax services, with
exception of the Shared Fax Service provided by either Microsoft Small
Business Server or Windows Server 2003. Internet Fax services are another
option which don't require either a modem or telephone line. More info on
these services is here:

Sorry by the insistence. If I have understood well, I can send faxes with the
fax-modem in two different ways: 1) Connecting the modem directly to a
Internet cable position in the router with a filter and 2)Connecting the PC
directly to the telephone line because it has a internal modem. I have tried
the second and I cannot send the fax, could you explain how to do that or
give me a link to get info? I am not interested in a Fax Service because my
fax traffic is small.
Thanks and kind regards.

In Outlook, under 'Tools|Account Settings', do you see the "Fax Mail
Transport"? If not, add it by clicking 'New|Other|Fax Mail Transport'.
Close and restart Outlook. Click "New" to start a new message, click the
"Account" button and select "Fax Mail Transport", enter a valid fax address
in the To: line, enter your message, and click the "Send" button.

I have detected the problem. It is not possible to send a fax with attached
documents from Outlook: if I send the new mail without them, the fax is sent
without problems.
Thanks by your help and sorry by my error.

Incorrect conclusion. It is most certainly possible to fax attachments from
Outlook as long as the attachment file type has a printto verb defined for
the operating system. Most file types do.

Please, could you explain me how to prepare the Office Files to be sent as
attachments by email with Outlook?
Thanks and best regards.

"Office File?"
Any file type that has a printto verb defined can be attached to a message
and faxed from Outlook. Word documents and Excel files can both be faxed as
attachments, for example.
You can also print such files to the fax printer from the originating
application.

Thank you Russ. You are right, I couldn't send the attachements because they
were not printable and when I have attached printable documents from
Microsoft Office the fax is sent perfectly.
Many thanks and best regards.
