fax - manual send

I usually have to send faxes to offices that share their
lines for fax and voice. So I call the phone number I
need and ask for sending a fax. Is there a way to
manually send a fax through Windows XP (like there is in
many other fax softwares)?

What do you mean manually send a fax?
Is there any other way to send it?
If fax services are enabled then select that from your printer list.
Before you actually send the fax through the Fax Wizard call the people
receiving it and tell them
your about to send a fax. Then hang up nd finish the wizard.
