Fax Help

My father is a manager of a running race in october.
He gave him home line number to receive fax.
I 'll setup Windows Xp Fax to receive them and print directly
to a laser printer.
How coult i make live together faxes with voice calls?
example il the fax get the call and it is not a fax?
should i make him respond after 5-6 rings? and during night?
help please let me understand how could i do.
