Can't get speaker volume on modem tab to produce dialing
sound.

Also have a problem dialing long distance. Using Outlook
Express address book. I think it's just doing 10 digit
dialing even though the proper local area code is being
used.
 
If you've set the speaker volume on the Modem tab and you are not hearing a
dialing sound, I'm not sure what is wrong there.

As to the dialing long distance, you must place a +1 in front of the area
code in order to get the system to properly dial as in +1(xxx)xxx-xxxx.
