Fax Clients - How to ????

Have fax modems installed in W2k server.

Can not get clients to connect / use them. The modems have been shared and
seen but they still can not use them. Do I need a client piece of software
inorder to use them properly ??

Basically, we used to run SBS 4.5 and upgraded to Win2000 servers. SBS had
a fax client for all the clients, where is it in Win2000??? Any instruction
arounf for it because I've searched for them on Microsofts web site and
can't find them. How do you set up the clients??? I keep getting "Fax
network client failed." Clients are a mix of Win 2000 and XP Pro.

Help !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

TIA

You don't. The Fax service under Windows 2000 and Windows XP is single
user, stand alone. The only way it can act as a client is when used with
the shared fax service provided by SBS or by Windows 2003 server.
