favorites

Hello,

I believe that recently I updated my windows XP
automatically. Afterward my Internet Explore browser
contains a bunch of stuff in the favorites. I can deleat
all the folders / links but when I turn off my compter
and turn it back on all those favorites that I do not
want are there. Any one have any idea how to turn this
function off and just leave me with my own favorites

First eliminate any scumware.

Note that AdAware and SpyBot S & D will each catch some things the other
won't. Also, each needs to be updated with the program's update function
before every use, even when just downloaded. There's also a lot more to do
