I have two users set up for Windows XP. Until now, we've both had our own
Favorites list in Internet Explorer. Now, mine has suddently been replaced by
duplicates of the favorites in the other users browser. My favorites are no
where to be found. I'm not sure if I've explained this well, but do you have
any idea why this might have happened? And, is my favorites list recoverable?
I can't find it anywhere.

I think that you have explained it quite well.

Select any old site to save in favorites > create a new folder (Tiger)
in Organize Favorites > Place the selected site in the 'Tiger' folder >
r.c. on the 'Tiger' folder > c. Properties > observe location of your
selected site. If it not in favorites you have a corrupted location
site.

If the latter is what has happened you can recover your missing
favorites by dragging and dropping them from the corrupted folder into
the proper favorites folder and then deleting the corrupted folder, if
that is the case.

You can find your favorites folder by searching 'Find files or Folders'.

Emrys Davies.
