i had a computer tech , transfer my Favorites list onto my new Vista , from
my old XP .

When I try to organise them, by deleting some, they delete, BUT COME BACK A
DAY LATER.

This never happened on XP.

Can you imagine how long my ' favorites" list is going to be in 10 years, if
I cannot delete some for good.

Help!!

It might be a security program blocking the Registry change it needs to
make. A few, but not all, of the programs now doing this are:
Ad-aware's Ad-Watch
IBM Access Connections
McAfee VirusScan and/or Antispyware
Norton AV
Spyware Blaster
Spybot> Tools> IE Tweaks
Spybot- Teatimer
Spysweeper
Spyware Doctor
Windows Defender
Zone Alarm (free) 6.5 Reported to be fixed in later versions.

In the case of Zone Alarm 6.5 or Norton 2007 it actually has to be
uninstalled. Make sure the Windows Firewall is turned on until you
reinstall Zone Alarm.

Boot into Safe Mode with Networking and try the change.

Thanks Frank, for trying to help. Actually, I did find the answer myself.
MSN said , they are aware of this problem, and have their techs. working on a
solution right now. So, I have to be patient..
Another tech, on this discussion group , asked why I put this problem on the
mail page. Give us newbies a break !! I didn't realise there were different
pages. also another tech. mentioned peoples spelling mistakes or use of
capitals. Again, give us a break. When people are stressed out ,they tend
to make mistakes ! And believe me this computer stuff is sressful !!
Unless of course you are a guy, and this is your hobby !! It ain't mine (
yes, I deliberately made that mistake ).
