Favorites Window

I normally surf the Internet with my Favorites window open on the left side
of my window. Starting today 2/24/05 for some reason the Favorites window
(column on left side of my screen) automatically closes when a website opens
or refreshes itself. How do I stop this automatic closing? I want to keep
my Favorites window open at all times as I use it to move from one site to
another often.

I think that this will do it for you.

in IE c. favorites button > r.c. on it and check 'Lock the Toolbars'.

Checking 'Lock the Toolbars' had no effect on problem, tried this before I
posted. Thank you for the reply, but still searching for the cure.

Do you have IE open in Fullscreen mode with the Explorer bar
unpinned?

If so press F11 or use your mouse to unhide and unpin it.

Alternatively press Ctrl-i (twice if necessary)
and describe your observations in detail.
Remember, your words have to substitute
for what our eyes might notice.
