Favorites folder location

Right click on Start button and select Properties. Select Start Menu tab and
click Customize... button. Now select Advanced tab and check 'Favorites
menu' from the 'Start menu items' list. Click OK & OK.

Control Panel-Taskbar and Start menu-Start menu tab-Customize... button.
Checkmark "Display Favorites" in list of items in next dialog box.

hi TIA, just right click on your Start button-->properties
-->start menu-->customize-->advance

for classic apperance, after customize you will see the
start menu items below.

under start menu item:
check the favorite menu

Go into startmenu/taskbar properties, under startmenu
Click to expand...
tab, click on customize, then check "display favorites."

That should do the trick.
