Favorites folder icon

Microsoft Windows 2000 Professional
Version: 5.00.2195 Service Pack 4
----------------------------------------------------
In C:\Documents and Settings\Administrator
The Favorites folder icon used to have
star shape in it.
Now it looks like an ordinary folder.

I am having no problems using / saving my favorites
but wonder why the icon appearance has changed...?

The folder may have lost its desktop.ini file. This file should have the
system and hidden attributes and contain these three lines:

[.ShellClassInfo]
CLSID2={1A9BA3A0-143A-11CF-8350-444553540000}
ConfirmFileOp=0

Thanks Gary
I opened the ini file
It read

[.ShellClassInfo]
CLSID2={1A9BA3A0-143A-11CF-8350-444553540000}
ConfirmFileOp=0

Same as below.

Sorry, I don't have any other suggestions. This is the folder IE is using
and not a different folder with the same name, right?

Oops, I just noticed something. There are several folders named favorites
on my system. Some have the icon woth star and some do not. The ones
which do all have the read-only attribute set. Is the read-only attribute
set on yours?
