Favorites dissapeared

Hello, When I got this new computer with XP professional
I imported my browser favorites from my previous
computer. Sometime ago those favorites dissapeared and I
created new favorites. Today the old favorites are back
and the new ones are nowhere to be found. Where can I
find the missing browser favorites. Are there different
profiles?

Hi Randy,

Common problem, but the cause is unknown (to me)

Open Registry Editor and navigate to this location:
[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\User Shell Folders]
In the right-pane, double-click "Favorites" and copy the value and post it here.

The correct value should be: "%USERPROFILE%\Favorites"

-or-

Use FolderRedirector utility and reset the shell folder paths for Favorites to the default values (both user shell folders and shell folders registry keys)
