Favorites disappeared

Help please! I am running XP Home and IE6. I can no longer see any of my
Favorites on the tool bar or when I click the Favorites star icon. It shows
as empty. They still appear in the directory. How can I retreive my
Favorites. Thanks in advance, Fran
