Favorites button not working

When i try to press the favorites button on internet
explorer,it shows only gray screen on the favorite
window.and it will not shows the links,in the link
toolbar,and also the explorer creates a "Link " folder in
the desktop whenever it is started.I have checked the
folder in windows explorer,na dall the links i have are in
the favorites folder,it just that theyre not showing up in
the internet explorer.I am logged on to another
account,but when i launch the internet explorer with an
administrator account ,the favorites shows with no
problem,all the favorites i added are there.I have checked
the security of the folder,it has administrative
permission,no restrictions.
