favorite button's entries are gone after a while a Windows Explorer window was left open

Hello all!

I have got Windows XP running on my computer. The program is
very well behaving unless in Windows Explorer 'Add to favorites...'
and 'Manage favorites...' under Favorites disappear after a while
an Explorer window was opened and still left open.

I, all the time, open one search and one explorer window when I
have booted up the computer in the morning. At the search
window's favorites button the two entries are still there yet as they
are gone in the explorer window.

As I do start a new explorer window the Favorite button's entries
are complete again as well.

Does someone know about a workaround?

Hello!

I checked resp. unchecked some boxes in Internet Explorers
Advanced tab settings and the menue became fold-out able.

As for yesterday it worked, but today it is broken again say
the two entries are missing. What is that?
