faulting module mso.dll

Outlook 2003 crashes multiple times per day. Running XP Pro SP2. All
updates are installed. I get the same message in the Event Viewer...

Faulting application outlook.exe, version 11.0.6353.0, stamp 408f2937,
faulting module mso.dll, version 11.0.6408.0, stamp 416add54, debug? 0, fault
address 0x00036a36.

I have trying to reinstall and repair numerous times with no help. I hate
to uninstall and reinstall since previous posts indicate this is useless.
Anybody fix this problem before?

Yes, this is most likely caused by a faulty plug in.

-. In your outlook got to 'Tools' -> 'Options'.
-. Choose the 'Other' tab.
-. Click on 'Advanced Options'.
-. Click on 'Add-In Manager'.
-. Disable all non-native plugins (everything except exchange).

McAfee e-mail scan plugin is known for being crapy for instance.
