Fatal System Error

After I boot up into Windows XP Home, after the process of
starting up is done, all applications quit, the start menu
bar changes to the old Windows Style, and the blue screen
of death appears saying:

Stop: c00002la {Fatal System Error}
The Windows Logon Process system process terminated
unexpectedly with a status of {0x00000000 0x00000000}
The System has been shut down

If anyone can help me, I thank you greatly in advance.
