I uninstalled Win.Messenger and Microsoft.NET because I
wasn't using them and immediatly got this error. Now I
get it on startup as the tool bar just loads and
sometimes during surfing it just appears. Now my printer
has begun to act funny. Outlook Express won't work.
I immediatly restored Win. Messenger and Microsoft.NET
then "System Restore". No help. Then I have reloaded
Win.XP, MIE 6 SP1 and Outlook Express 5.0. No help.
I have done everything Dell advised. (I'm using a new
Dell Dimension 2400.) I have contacted Microsoft and am
waiting for a reply.
Can anyone help me?

I had the problem with HP hardware applications.
Then I noticed it went beyond that. On a hunch I ran the XP1 driver
recovery CD. It worked
