I recently had to run my recovery program that re-installed Windows XP Home
Edition on my PC. After the recovery I noticed that the C drive was now
FAT32. I ran a chkdsk after the install had there were some bad sectors.
Someone told me that Windows XP should use NTSF drives, and I may have
problems at some point. Everything seems to be working ok.
Is it true that Windows XP need the drive to be formatted as NTSF, or I will
have problems?
Should I try to us chkdsk with the fix option to correct the bad sectors, or
will that cause other problems?
Thanks, John
