Fast User Switching Wont Enable!

I open up user accounts , click change the way users log on or off, check box
to enable fast user switching, click apply options button and open it up
again to find that the fast user switch box is not highlighted
AAAAAAAAAAAARGH! Anyone got a solution?

Using 'msgina' to enable VPN disables .F.U.S, as does Domain membership. If
not applicable, then you probably have the Welcome screen turned off.

I do have the welcome screen enabled as for the first part you said i don't
understand.

An Update probably caused some interaction with your system. Something else
you have installed is now faulting. You could experiment with unstalling
apps, or updates.

Check if the "Terminal Services" and/or the "Fast user switching
compatibility" Services are enabled.

Try the registry fix in line 34 left side.
