Fast transfer of URL to other computer on LAN?

I have folder sharing witrh my desktop and laptop. However I frequently
want to quickly copy an URL from one machine to the other. Apart from
emailing it 8:) what do you recommend?

Create a "Send To" entry that can either be a Favorites folder or
some other kind of temporary folder location. Just create or share
the destination folder and create a shortcut to that destination and
cut-&-paste the shortcut into your "Send To" folder in your profile.
 
That's a cool way of doing it or just simply put the url in a text file or
word doc etc.. and save the file to your shared network location. Good Luck.
