The time would be better spent installing a standard generic copy of Windows
Vista if you want a clean version of Windows instead of HP's buggy or Acer's
buggy versions of Vista.

Ah me! Do you remember when XP was noo and there were hundreds of
articles about how to downgrade from wicked XP to good ole 2000? Just
change 'XP' to 'Windows 2000' and 'Vista' to 'XP' in the current article
and you have one of those old articles almost word for word.

When the next WIndows comes out people will be writing articles on how
to downgrade the wicked noo Windows to good ole stable Vista. Sigh!
