far cry installation

I bought the game far cry and on the second cd during instalation a notice comes up saying fatal error 1603 look to windows installer help which I did and I still can't seem to figure it out I have a p4 with 2.5ghz and 256 ram and a radeon 256 mb vidieo card

Usually I am getting similar errors due to the things related to video adapters.
Clean Temp files.
Update your video driver first.
Then see games manuf. site for possible bugs and fixes.

You may want to get more system memory. They say, for Windows XP at least 512mb of memory. I know Far Cry was designed for the AMD Athlon 64 chip. I don't think this is causing your problem, just alittle heads up. Even if you got the game installed you may have problems playing it with 256mb of Ram.

Listen....im recieving an error message "1603" and it won't allow me to
re-install my messenger 6.2 or the beta. I need it so what can I do. I
removed the old components. Everytime I am downloading from the site it tells
me to go to the site and download. I am confused...I need help immediately.
