FAQ for this news.group?

Hi, I'm new to this news.group. I've posted a couple of queries, but to
make sure further posts are topical, I wondered if there is an
alt.comp.freeware FAQ I could consult? For example, one question I am
posing is

"What is freeware?"

Is it black and white, ie., software that is free? Or does it include
things like "donationware" (donate money if you like, but it's not
necessary), "charityware" (donate money to a charity) and other kinds of
non-profit exchange? Are 'lite' versions of software considered freeware,
or not, because the full version is shareware/for profit?

I hope someone can answer these questions.
