Family computer

We have a family computer. If we go the seperate users route, will all users
be able to access our family pictures, our common documents, and music
library?

Yes, if you put them in the Public folders. (Those folders already exist).

If you make your account a password protected Administrative account and the
other accounts Limited accounts you do not need to worry about other people
accessing your files. Don't give out your password and don't enable file
sharing. Don't put anything into a Public folder or Shared Documents folder.
End of problem.
