False error CD-RW message

I have XP home, SP 2, and a Roxio Easy CD and DVD burner 6 which works fine. But every time I boot up, I get an error message saying there is a CD driver error which could make the computer unstable and then I get the XP Help and Support page. I reinstalled the Roxio and updated the driver - still the same. Microsoft has a page about this error directing you how to get rid of it after uninstalling the software. I don't want to uninstall because it works. Does anyone know how to just get rid of the message? Thanks in advance!

Where is this page from Microsoft about how to get rid of it?
