failed to get data 'ac'

I am getting this error message everytime i start Internet
Explorer. the program shuts down everytime.

anyone have any ideas?

I can't find anything on this. If this is a recent issue, try using System
Restore to take you back to a time prior to when this began.

If that doesn't resolve it, try Ad Aware:

Also, you might check the error log to see if there are any clearer
notations there. Open Control Panel, open Administrative Tools, open Event
Viewer, look for any errors that correspond to when this error appears,
double click the error, the information contained within may give a clue as
to the source of the error.

I see a lot of folks posting with this problem starting Nov 24

our computer also is affected

we get the same message when starting "internet explorer" but alt least
the application sti8ll opens.
Our IE 6 just crashes.

We downloaded Mozilla 1.5 as a standby browser and it is working great.

I ran ad-aware and spy bot,
we have the latest patches from MS
our Norton virus is updated and fresh

anyone got more ideas?
