Fade effect for image converted to html

G

Guest

I have a problem I'm sure at least one of you has experienced. When saving a slide presentation as a web page, everything works pretty good with the exception of the fade effect (with images). You see, when the page loads and there is an image that's supposed to fade-in, it first loads..for a split second (flashes the image) then proceeds to fade in.

I want the image, which is a layer on the backround, to fade in...not flash then fade in. Can anyone guide me in the right direction?

Much thanks!
Scott

Scott,

I've seen this, and never worked out whether it was a problem with the html
or with resources. I do feel that html does a poor job with some animations.
If you have a link we could look at, I'd be happy to have a "chook" (look).

Scott,

Yes, I agree! I remember having done fades in html and they did work
perfectly.

Actually, html does a perfect job of fading in, it's whatever powerpoint
adds to javascript that messes things up. As far as a link is corcerned, if
you want to see first hand it would be more informative to create a few
simple slides with images that fade in, then simply convert to html...thanks
for the reply though. I always seem to have a situation that stump
everybody!
