Factory Restrore

I tried using my factory restore discs that came with a Balance laptop I
bought. Now I can't even boot my computer up. It comes up with the Safe
Mode screen but no matter what option i pick nothing works. ANy suggestions

Once in Safe Mode, insert your WindowsXP installation disk, and click on
Repair install.

Hello Pegasus,

Please provide more details as to how far you can get into Safe Mode. Can
you login? Do you get beyond the login & display of the desktop?

Have you tried really hard to get to bootup options , by pressing (tapping)
F8 Function key as the pc is booting up --- early --- before Windows tries
to load up?

Tap & repeat tapping F8 as the pc is "booting up".

Does the vendor have a support website? If it comes to the point of using
restore CD, you'll need to follow Balance's instruction, and likely boot the
pc from the CD. Hold off on that though.

If you can only manage to get bootup choices ---- there are other
options --- such as choosing "Last Known Good".

A factory Restore CD likely does not have the repair capability.
