face tracking message

When I booted up today I accidentally hit the right arrow
cursor and a "Face Tracking: off" message flashed up in
large red letters on the screen. I do have a logitech
webcam installed but it does not have face tracking. When
I pressed the left cursor "Face Tracking: on " appeared in
green.
I have never noticed this before and when I re-booted it
did not happen. Have I picked up a virus? Help!

No . . . no a virus. Just a helpful?, sneaky install they thought you'd
like to have. You have Face Tracking now. LOL

Seems Face Tracking software is being packaged with low-end Logitech Web
Cams and installed automagically. The 'face tracking' is digital and does
not require an expensive, servo'd camera.
