eZula and Hotbar not detected

E

Eric Carmichel

Hello,
I have Aladdin's Internet Cleanup, which detects both
cookies and spyware. Internet Cleanup classifies eZula
and Hotbar as spyware (separate from cookies), but
Microsoft's AntiSpyware does not detect either of these.
I have the latest version of AntiSpyware as of 17SEP2005.
Does MS Corp. deem eZula and Hotbar as benign or
insignificant spyware? Please pardon me if I sound
ignorant--I'm not a computer expert by any stretch of the
imagination. Thank you for your time and consideration.
Sincerely,
Eric

Ive installed this on my test system and it says you get
a 15 day trial but then if I try to update the
definitions it says it has expired and I need to pay
$29.95 ?

Even though I cannot update the spyware definitions its
showing my system is infected with these (I find it
amusing it showing one of its own entries as spyware, but
its not funny that its detecting genuine system files :)

The above is hard to believe and removing these entries
could seriously damage the pc, if you have payed them it
may be best if you copy & paste this and ask them for a
full refund based on these detections. My Test pc is
clean of spyware so none of these are really what they
say and no files are spyware.
