There is no such thing as "OE 2007". If you mean Outlook 2007, then click
FIle>Import and Export>Export to a file. Choose "Comma Separated Values",
click Next, choose your Contacts, click Next, choose the name of the file,
click Next, then click Finish. You can open this file in Excel and save it
as an XLS file.

Mea culpa,
I was referring to Outlook 2007. Anyways, trying the following procedure
I found out I need to export "Global Address List", which is on an Exchange
Server and which I don't have on a local machine as a Mailbox folder like
other contact folders in the Address book. How to get it as a csv file from
here?

Hi, yes, I was wrongly referring to Outlook 2007.
How can I make a view assuming I don't know how to put that part of the
Address book (Global Address List, contacts in an Exchange server address
book) in the left pane menu under "Contacts"?

Assuming OE 2007 = Outlook 2007 which ships with office: File, Import and
Export or create a view with the fields you need and copy, then paste into
Excel.
