Extracting Audio From A Film/Video/.

Hiya

I have some films on my pc which are in avi, mpeg, mpeg4 formats

i would like to extract some audio from these films/videos


it would be great if the sound clips are in mp3 format. so that they would work on my mobile aswell..
obviously I am going to need some software, do u know which software i need to use?

Audacity, Cdex & DbPower amp should do that for you.

Just plug audio from VCR/Camcorder/whatever into line in of sound card/onboard audio, then use aux or similar module in software to capture. You should be able to choose between WAV & mp3 formats in software.
I use dbPowerAmp but I don't think it's free anymore. I have the free copy, if you want it, PM me and I'll host it.

Both Audacity and Cdex are free, but I believe Audacity is more user-friendly.
