Extra slow startup/Date and time changes without input

Hi,
been having this problem with long startup duration
(at bootup)till logon showsup getting to be difficult.
Also every now and then I notice that the date and time
changes without user input. I run a virus scan with new
dats but nothing shows up. Isuspect that there is
something in the bios, anybody experience this in the
past.

Sounds like the motherboard bios battery has gone dead. They usually
last for anywhere from 3 to 5 years in my experience but they can last
longer. That would be my guess.
