Extra sections in taskbar

When I started up my computer, Windows displayed several
extra divisions in the taskbar. Now, two of them display
what programs are running. How can I get rid of the extra
sections?

Try right-clicking a blank area on Taskbar and point to Toolbars in pop-up
menu. This gets a list of which ones are available. Checkmarked ones are
what are activated. Click on unwanted ones to remove. Can always be
returned.

Hopefully this will remove this problem.
