External 80G Harddisk

I have bought a 80G Fujitsu external Harddisk. It works properly in my
office (XP SP1) as a removable disk. However, at my home PC (XP SP2), it is
recognised wrongly as a DVD-RAM drive. Thus the files in these two PCs
cannot be shared.

do you know how to fix it?

Sounds like XP-2 is mis ID ing the fujitsu HD
Fujitsu should have a patch available.
