extensions/folder question

I'm running FP2000 and I'm attempting to install a cgi search engine
from www.kscripts.com and it keeps pulling up a mixture of regular pages
and ones in the _vti_cnf folder (which my host tells me is part of my
extensions). Does anyone think it would cause me any problems if I add
http://www.hallssalvage.com/_vti_cnf/ to the ignore files and
directories list of the search engine?

You shouldn't have any problems and actually it would help. Since the _vti
are only used by FP, adding these directories to an exclusion list can
definitely help you out and the search script shouldn't harm them because it
is simply scanning them.

Hope this helps,
