You can't adjust the time on the volume fade in or out. But you could add a
'silent audio clip' and overlap it with a clip to achieve it. A silent clip
is any audio clip with the audio muted.
The time of video effects can be changed by adjusting the overlap between
the clips. Drag the right hand clip in the timeline to change the amount of
overlap.
